Pedro Bell, a legendary P-funk album cover artist and psychedelic cartoonist, is ailing and in urgent need of care. The Black Rock Coalition is stirring up action to raise funds to help cover his living and medical expenses, and to allow his family to develop opportunities for his in-demand work. Their recent Miracle for a Maggot funkraiser at Santos Party House featured Bernie Worrell, Ronny Drayton, Andre Lassalle, Kelsey Warren, Melvin Gibbs Luqman Brown, J.T. Lewis and special guests Corey Glover & Will Calhoun w an appearance by Vernon Reid.
