at 17…. i moved to nyc …14th st between b and c …before it was re-named the east village, it was called loieasada….years before my boyfriend dragged me into a drag club. Like a magpie…I gravitated towards their shiny sparkling glitter eyeshadow, lavender eyebrows, and  

pushup bras.. but before all that  i was just me ….a drag king and very happy to have my own apartment  key in the most exciting neighborhood in NYC and on one of the busiest streets..the way I like it.- lady Miss Kier

p.s. the only person i knew who called it “Alphabet city” was Prince and he lived  in minneapolis or actually on the road. I loved that song…”I’m going down”…..

My band hit Paris last sunday nite, march 3rd , for fashion week and brought a packed house back to the garden of Deee-lite. Thanks to House of Kenzo,Nadege,Matt Becker,Fabian and the entire band. Thrilled to see Ebony Bones  in the crowd ,Robyn, Jessica Alba, and Ellen von Unworth  mixed among other supermodels and fashion brats-  Lady Miss Kier

1993 ! Stylin all the while. In the Mexican jungle…deep in the Yucatan  .. there are more than a 1000 pyramids mostly covered with jungle and many appear to be mountains. we drove around the entire Yucatan loop for  8 days thru Chiapas ,Aqua azul,palenque,tulum,chichinitza,and my favorites…the ones with no names…just a little wooden sign with a chalk marking of a pyramid shape . a guard with a smile  and no tourists in sight . that was the mystery to me . there were many . many stories there . a carnival fully in swing at 2 am  blasting techno - this was in 1994 so techno was barely played in the north america..but south america beat us to it. ha. in the jungle.

She began building her dream in the 60’s ..1 sculpture or 1 home  depicting every card in the deck. Very ambitious. She died in the process of following her dream vision , as it’s been ongoing for over 40 years. One day .I’ll edit the footage we shot there…one day….so little time…so many moments to live for - Lady Miss Kier…www.ladykier.com
