THE CORPORATION)  gave Motown it’s “new sound” adapting the new funk  from Sly and the family stone  into all those Jackson Five hits and then onto Billie Jean. But what they went on to do afterwards is even more sonically phenominal and brought us the best of the best sunshine jazz such as Donald Byrd, A taste of Honey, Johnny “hammond ” Smith, Bobby Humphrey,Edwin Starr, Gary Bartz and on and on until the break of dawn Silva. .
