globalisation ?  new clothes are less expensive then thrift store clothes  in the western world but what’s the greater cost ? 440 workers killed who earn 37 dollars a month in a sweatshop ? what happened to those “look for the union label ” commercials  we had in the U.S.? is that union still operating in the here ? we need those back or raise a “global minimum wage” . - lady miss kier 

update: this week : over 1000 garment workers may have been killed at work so we can buy a 14$ sundress. note to self :   I’m thriftshopping from now on or making it my self.
