Everybody keeps asking me if deee-lite will re-unite on tour but sadly, that is impossible….. When I left the band, i knew we would never reunite. Don’t ya’ll know the best bands always break up.
It never occurred to me that people would become nostalgic for the 90’s EVER but over the last 5 years i started adding 90’s songs into my dj sets and this year started to perform several of the deee-lite songs with my new band . So far we’ve only done 4 shows. I’ve kept this deee-lite tribute show or as i call it “Lady Miss Kier’s Return to the garden of deelite show” separate from my own Lady Miss Kier show which consist of all my new music and never repeats the same …i add a new song each show to keep my writing chops up. Anyway….i needed to address this as many people don’t understand why Deee-lite won’t tour …i’ll just say this…we all live in seperate countries, we have very different lifestyles and tastes in music and we broke up because we weren’t getting along . I never discussed my lyrics with the other two while i was in the band for the entire time, and we had very different philosophies on life then and now …I hope the fans can understand also about the Deeelite album I had rerecorded from old cassette demos i found from before we had a record deal. …Several old demos were going to be released but the plug got pulled by forces beyond my control so i am sorry i announced a new deeelite album release..it was just sitting there for nearly 25 years and now will continue to sit…it is what it is. I hope my new music will satisfy something for the deeelite music lovers. Que sera sera - Lady Miss Kier
